Hi, I'm Gary a qualified counsellor based in Milton Keynes.
I have worked in educational settings and social care with children and young people for a number of years before training to be a counsellor.
My time spent in schools included mainstream settings, a special needs school and a primary pupil referral unit. I have been the head of pastoral care in a primary school and have worked with and supported children and their families as well as working alongside other professionals.
My decision to become a counsellor was based upon a desire to help others and make a difference during distressing times.
I felt with my experience and understanding I was in a good position to be of help.
I truly believe that good mental health and mental wellbeing is essential for all of us.
