Anxiety or feeling anxious is something that we all experience at times, it is a natural response in certain situations and can actually help keep us safe.
When anxiety lasts longer that we expect or it becomes a consistent part of our daily life it can be overwhelming.
There are many reasons why we may feel anxious, some of these anxious feelings may come from personal experiences and life events.
At other times, situations going on around us personally, locally or even globally can cause feelings of upset and unease.
Anxiety can become problematic when our worries are out of proportion, this can cause distress and difficulties in our lives.
To help you with your anxiety a number of areas can be looked at and explored to find ways to help you cope and manage your anxiety.
Helping you understand your anxiety and identifying the times when you feel most anxious can be a starting point in helping you therapeutically.
