Some of the different types of sexual violence include rape, sexual abuse, childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual exploitation.
Any one of any gender can experience sexual violence and the perpetrator can be of any gender.
There are many myths around sexual violence and a prevalent victim blaming culture within society which can make it difficult to access help and support.
It is important to remember that no victim of sexual violence is to blame.
